Victron Quattro-II inverter/charger 24V/5000VA/120A-50A/50A

Quattro-II is a combined device that includes an inverter and charger. In addition, it can accept two AC inputs and automatically connect to the active source. Its features include voltage inverter (pure sine wave), adaptive charging, hybrid PowerAssist technology and multiple functions for system integration, such as three-phase output or parallel operation.

Two AC inputs
Quattro-II is equipped with two independent AC inputs (for example, grid and generator or two generators). The device is able to automatically connect to the source that is currently available when needed.

Two AC outputs
Quattro-II is equipped as standard with two AC outputs. The main output ensures uninterrupted power supply. Quattro-II takes over the power supply of connected appliances in case of grid or generator failure. The switching is very fast (less than 20 milliseconds), so computers and other sensitive electronics remain operational.
The second output is only active when AC power is available at the device input. Loads that should not discharge the battery can be connected to it, such as water heaters or air conditioning.

PowerControl – AC source overload limitation
Quattro-II is a powerful battery charger and can draw high current from the grid or generator. For each AC input, the maximum allowed consumption can be set to prevent overloading of the external source.

Unique features of PowerAssist function
PowerAssist extends the PowerControl function. If overloading of a power-limited AC source is imminent, the device first reduces the battery charging current. If this is not enough, Quattro-II temporarily boosts the output power by supplying energy from the batteries.

Solar energy: AC power is available even during grid failure
Quattro-II can be used in off-grid and hybrid systems with solar panels or other alternative energy sources. It is compatible with solar charge controllers as well as grid-tie inverters.

Virtually unlimited power thanks to parallel operation
Up to 6 Quattro-II units can work in parallel to achieve higher power. Six Quattro-II 24/5000/120 units provide up to 25 kW (30 kVA) output power with total battery charging capacity up to 720 A.

Three-phase operation
Three units of the same model can be assembled into a three-phase system. Up to 6 three-phase assemblies (18 units in total) can be connected in parallel.

System configuration, monitoring and control
Settings can be made in a few minutes using VEConfigure software (a computer or laptop and MK3-USB interface are required).
A range of monitoring and control options are available: Cerbo GX, Color Control GX, Venus GX, Octo GX, CANvu GX, laptop, computer, Bluetooth (with optional VE.Bus Smart), Battery Monitor, Digital Multi Control Panel.

Remote configuration and monitoring
By installing Cerbo GX or another GX device, the system can be connected to the internet. Operating data can be stored and displayed free of charge on the VRM (Victron Remote Management) portal. Once connected to the internet, the system can be remotely monitored and configured.
