Xtend Solarmi Esit UF300
Professional three-stage voltage and frequency grid protection for photovoltaic power plants.
The UF300 device is a specialized protection unit that ensures the safe integration of photovoltaic systems with the distribution grid. It primarily provides dual protection – safeguarding the grid from undesirable effects of small energy sources and at the same time protecting those sources from adverse grid disturbances.
The protection unit continuously monitors voltage and frequency of the grid and disconnects the PV system via a contactor if the predefined limits are exceeded. For both monitored parameters, two sets of thresholds with individual trip times can be configured, allowing flexible adaptation to specific installation requirements. Parameter configuration is done easily via PC using a USB interface (cable not included).

Advanced monitoring functions
The supplied PC application enables real-time monitoring of measured values and device status. It also allows access to the device’s historical behavior log containing up to 480 entries, providing a comprehensive overview of the photovoltaic system’s operation.
Easy installation and operation
The unit is designed for simple mounting on a standard DIN rail with dimensions of 106 × 90 × 58 mm. Current protection status is clearly indicated by two LEDs, offering essential operational insights without the need for PC connection.
Reliable performance
The UF300 features a robust design with IP20 protection and meets the third impulse overvoltage category according to IEC 664-I, ensuring reliable operation even in demanding conditions. With a low power consumption of only 3W, it is an energy-efficient solution for continuous photovoltaic system monitoring.
