AC distribution board designed for wall mounting, protection class I+II, IP65, intended for servicing three-phase photovoltaic power plants (typically Goodwe inverter 4 to 10K-ET).
Its advantage is automatic switching between standard grid operation and backup. It is necessary to monitor the load during power outage to prevent overload because its function switches the inverter backup for the entire house.
An undeniable advantage is minimal intervention into the customer's distribution board – Smartmeter (inverter metering), common failure point and all protection are part of this distribution board. It is sufficient to create a loop between the main distribution board and the placement of technology. Smartmeter is not included in the delivery.
The distribution board is also prepared for emergency disconnect of the inverter HDO (N0%) and preparation for installation of FIRE-SAFETY solution. The GW40 type is designed for the main circuit breaker in the 40 A column.
There is a slight time delay when switching (contactors switching). Therefore, it is not a seamless backup solution.
