EPEVER TEP6425

High-performance MPPT solar charge controller with maximum tracking efficiency of 99.5% for professional photovoltaic systems.

The EPEVER TEP6425 controller from the TEP series represents an advanced solution for charging batteries from solar panels with a charging current of up to 60 A. It supports systems with voltages of 12/24/48 V with automatic detection and can handle a maximum input voltage from photovoltaic panels of up to 250 V at the lowest temperature (225 V at 25 °C). The MPPT range is from battery voltage plus 2 V (minimum 20 V) up to 180 V at 25 °C.

The controller achieves peak MPPT tracking efficiency of 99.5% and maximum conversion efficiency of 98.5%, ensuring optimal utilization of solar energy. It supports various battery types including AGM, gel, flooded, and lithium LiFePO4 and NCM with user-configurable settings. Maximum charging power reaches 780 W for 12 V, 1560 W for 24 V, and 3120 W for 48 V systems.

Advanced features and system flexibility
The controller offers three-stage charging control for optimal battery care and extended lifespan. The built-in BMS communication port enables direct communication with EPEVER batteries; for other brands, a BMS-LINK module is required. Real-time data logging, event logging, and performance statistics provide complete system operation overview.

Parallel operation and expandability
Thanks to built-in CAN communication, up to 6 controller units can be connected in parallel, enabling the creation of powerful systems with a total charging current of up to 360 A. Parallel operation is possible both with battery and without it in direct load power supply mode.

Extensive connectivity and monitoring
Isolated RS-485 interface with 5 V DC/200 mA power supply (RJ-45 connector) allows connection of optional communication modules for remote monitoring via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, TCP, or 4G networks. The controller complies with EN/IEC61000-6-2, EN/IEC61000-6-4, EN/IEC62109-1, and IEC62321 standards.
