Advanced MPPT solar charge and discharge controller with a high current of 80 A for 12 / 24 / 36 / 48 V systems.

The IT8420NC G3 controller from the IT-NC G3 series represents a new generation of high-performance MPPT controllers with a load output function. With a top-tier MPPT efficiency of 99.5% and a conversion efficiency of 98.5%, it ensures maximum use of solar energy. It supports three-stage charging to extend battery life and is compatible with various battery types.

The controller features a die-cast metal housing with IP43 protection for reliable operation in demanding conditions. The advanced low-consumption design significantly reduces static power usage and extends the system’s standby time. Comprehensive electronic protection and flexible communication options further enhance system reliability.

Advanced communication options
The controller offers communication via a CAN bus for parallel operation of up to 6 devices, with or without batteries. BMS communication ensures reliable charging and discharging control for EPEVER batteries; for other manufacturers, a BMS-LINK module is required.

Universal application
The controller is ideal for motorhomes, boats, industrial monitoring, and small to medium solar systems. It supports direct load powering when sufficient solar energy is available, without needing to pass through the battery.

Protection features
Comprehensive electronic protection includes overload, short-circuit, overheating, and reverse polarity protection. Temperature compensation of -3 mV/°C/2V optimizes charging according to ambient temperature.
