Victron Venus GX

Central communication unit for intuitive control and monitoring of all components of Victron energy systems.

The Venus GX represents the heart of every modern energy system, connecting and managing countless Victron devices including inverters, chargers, MPPT controllers, BMV battery monitors and many others. The device provides a complete system overview through the Remote Console and the free VRM Online Portal.

As an Energy Manager in ESS systems (Energy Storage System), the Venus GX optimizes the energy flow between solar panels, batteries, and the grid. The advanced automatic generator start system can be customized based on state of charge, voltage, load, and other parameters, including quiet hours.

Advanced data services
Venus GX automatically sends all data to the VRM portal when connected to the internet. In case of a connection outage, it stores data internally for up to 48 hours. Using a microSD card or USB, the capacity can be extended and data later uploaded or analyzed in the VictronConnect app.

Flexible internet connectivity
The unit connects to the internet via Ethernet cable or Wi-Fi. For mobile applications, an external GPRS or 3G router can be used, as the Venus GX does not have an integrated cellular modem.

Tank and location monitoring
A GPS module can be connected to the USB port for location tracking on the VRM portal map. Three analog inputs allow connection of resistive tank sensors configured for European or American standards.
