Victron VE.Bus BMS NG
The VE.Bus BMS NG system represents the latest generation of battery management solutions from Victron Energy, specially developed for controlling and protecting Lithium NG (LiFePO4) batteries. It supports battery pack configurations with various voltage levels (12.8 V, 25.6 V, 51.2 V) and capacities, both in parallel and series connection, allowing scaling up to a total capacity of 384 kWh. The system provides reliable protection against under/overvoltage, overheating or overcooling of cells, and automatically disconnects the load or charging device if necessary.
Advantages:
- Bluetooth Smart: wireless setup, monitoring, and firmware updates via the VictronConnect app.
- Load Disconnect: disconnects the load when cell undervoltage occurs, compatible with BatteryProtect and other devices with remote on/off function.
- Charge Disconnect: disconnects chargers in case of overvoltage or unsuitable battery temperature.
- Early undervoltage warning: activates LED, buzzer, or relay 30 s before load disconnection.
- Remote on/off input: simultaneously turns off both the load and chargers when the off signal is received.
- LED indication: Bluetooth status, warnings and errors, VE.Bus status.
- Communication with VE.Bus devices: controls the status of inverters and chargers such as MultiPlus, Quattro, etc.
- Communication with remote devices: through the Remote panel port, it is possible to connect Cerbo GX, Digital Multi Control, or VE.Bus Smart dongle.
- Power and auxiliary inputs/outputs: dedicated GX-Power output for powering GX devices and Aux-In input.
The device is intended exclusively for use with Victron Lithium NG batteries and is not compatible with older Lithium Smart models without the NG designation.
