The professional isolated DC/DC converter Victron Orion 12/48V-8A (380 W) offers a range of unique features and easy installation.
Remote On/Off Control
The remote on/off terminal eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. It can be controlled using a low-power switch or, for example, an engine start/stop switch (see wiring diagram below).
Parallel Operation
All models are short-circuit proof and can be operated in parallel to increase output power. There is no limit to the number of units that can be connected in parallel.
IP43 Protection
When installed with the screw terminals facing downward.
Overtemperature Protection
The output current is reduced at high ambient temperatures.
Quick and Easy Installation
Standard screw terminals are provided for cable connections, eliminating the need for special tools during installation.
Adjustable Output Voltage
Not intended for battery charging.
For battery charging applications, consider the Orion-Tr Smart series.
