The professional isolated DC/DC converter Victron Orion 48/24V-5A (120 W) offers a range of unique features and easy installation.
Remote On/Off Control
The remote on/off terminal eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. Remote on/off can be controlled using a low-power switch or, for example, an engine start/stop switch (see wiring diagram below).
Parallel Operation
All models are short-circuit proof and can be operated in parallel to increase output power. The number of units that can be connected in parallel is unlimited.
IP43 Protection
When installed with screw terminals facing downward.
High-Temperature Protection
The output current will decrease at high ambient temperatures.
Quick and Easy Installation
Standard screw terminals are available for connecting cables, so no special tools are required for installation.
Adjustable Output Voltage
Not designed for battery charging.
For battery charging, consider using the Orion-Tr Smart series.
