The professional isolated DC/DC converter Victron Orion 24/48V-6A (280 W) offers a range of unique features and easy installation.
Remote On/Off Control
The remote on/off terminal eliminates the need for a high-current switch in the input wiring. Remote on/off can be controlled with a low-current switch or, for example, a motor start/stop switch (see diagram below).
Parallel Operation
All models are short-circuit proof and can be connected in parallel to increase output power. The number of units that can be connected in parallel is unlimited.
IP43 Rating
When installed with the screw terminals oriented downwards.
Over-temperature Protection
The output current will reduce at high ambient temperature.
Fast and Simple Installation
Classic screw terminals are available for connecting the cables, so no special tools are needed for the converter connection.
Adjustable Output Voltage
Not intended for battery charging.
For battery charging, consider using Orion-Tr Smart devices.
