Expanding module for charging stations OlifeEnergy AC and DoubleBox. It enables the station to communicate with selected inverters for home photovoltaic power plants (PVPP). To protect the main fuse from equipment, there is no need to purchase Olife Energy SmartMeter; thanks to SolarModule, you can use the smart meter of the solar power plant (only selected models). The module can communicate with the inverter via a local network (LANWi-Fi, or through the Ethernet protocol ModBus TCP. Furthermore, it allows remote management and station settings over the local network. Collaboration with the inverter allows the station to optimize electric vehicle charging to achieve the highest possible charging speed using the maximum efficiency of solar energy. It operates in two modes - fuse protection and solar charging.
Fuse Protection (maximum charging speed):
Vehicle charging occurs at the maximum possible speed. Dynamic power management prevents the main fuse from tripping (consumption is measured at the inverter's smart meter installation location). If the property's consumption increases, charging slows down, and if the PVPP deliveries increase, charging speeds up, and vice versa. High property consumption pauses charging.
Solar Charging (maximum efficiency):
Charging is based on the state of charge (SoC) of the battery storage, power, and the current load of the inverter. Only energy generated from the PVPP is used, resulting in maximum operational efficiency and the highest possible savings. You can set a minimum battery reserve at which charging stops to ensure sufficient energy is available for the household.
For installing the module, an expansion kit SLBPW is required. This module cannot be used with stations in the CLOUD version.
