Surge arrester/protector specially designed for the protection of photovoltaic equipment against overvoltage. The DS 50PVS surge arresters are two-part type 2 arresters (with modular structure) and are DIN rail mounted. The replaceable module allows easy replacement of the damaged part without the need to dismantle the connected conductors. These arresters contain a high-performance varistor with thermal fuse and in the event of a fault, the thermal disconnection device disconnects the arrester current circuit, which is indicated by an optical indication of the arrester status.
