Victron Orion DC-DC converter 24/12-5 (60 W)
Fully encapsulated DC-DC converter (IP67) that is resistant to shock, water, oil (grease) and other contaminants (dirt). It is equipped with overload, short circuit and overheating/ignition protection.
The converter is characterized by high efficiency and unique safety. Inferior quality devices can cause irreparable damage to your DC 12V system. By using Orion voltage converters you will avoid these problems.
- The housing is made of die-cast aluminum and the electronics are encapsulated in resin. IP67 protection rating.
- The wide input voltage range of 15 to 40 V ensures stable output in the event of overvoltage or voltage drop caused by other equipment connected to the same battery.
- Shutdown at 13 V, restart at 14 V.
- Over-temperature protection - Can be used in high temperature environments (e.g. machine room).
- The converter is equipped with 1.8 m of cabling.
- 2x input cable 0.8 mm2 (18 AWG), 2x output cable 0.8 mm2 (18 AWG).
The converter can optionally be protected against reverse polarity by an external fuse or circuit breaker (not included).
